Make a block was a little confusing to me in the beginning. The way you would use it is that you would make a tittle for the block and then whatever you want your sprite to do then you would put it under the defined bar. You would use make a block when you have multiple steps.

Reflection

Something that surprises me about this activity is that you can make sounds out of the sprite. It is easier to be led step by step in the activity. As a learner I like to have more structure when I don't understand something. I like having more freedom when I know what I am doing. I feel most creative when I like the project.

HTML

Three things I would like to learn would be how to create you own webpage,program a language, and control a style of a webpage. Two things I learned about HTML is that how to type words into a paragraph and to make a body paragraph. One thing I am concerned about making a webpage would be to make it creative.

Why do Computers Use Binary?

Three things that I learned is that binary is a system for representing numbers using only the digits 1 and 0. Also I learned that computers have a computer jack that can make you listen to music on your phone. Analog Signal is a signal that's proportional to the value it presents. I still don't understand how the sound from the computer goes to the headphones and how numbers would make the sound go threw. I would like to know more about how the sound can get louder.

Eliza Post: In some ways I did find Eliza human like but in some ways I didn't also because she would always say explain to me more or tell me more. To try to make her more human I would try to have a conversation with her so she could actually talk to me. I wouldn't expect a lot of emotion like word from a computer because that is another step for having a conversation with a computer. I believe that there will be even more computer like stuff and more advanced.

Google Boys

The way google transformed a 2 man operation into a profitable large corporation is they put adds on whatever you would search

One challenge they faced will creating google was to make the search time go down meaning to search faster. another challenge was resourcing and funding.

The key thing they need to do to stay ahead was to have the best search result because some search engines like yahoo doesn't give the correct information

Google finds there information faster from taking other sites and putting them in the best search result

African Cornrows

• Cornrows use 4 geometric concepts: Translation, Rotation, Reflection, and Dilation
• Cornrows date back to 500 B.C. 
• Cornrow hairstyles in Africa also cover a wide social terrain: religion, kinship, status, age, ethnicity, and other attributes of identity can all be expressed in hairstyle.
•  Mathematics is also a traditional part of African hairstyles.
• The braid patterns were commonly based on African tradition and styles.
•  Madame C.J. Walker invented a system for straightening hair without the damage caused by other methods. She became the first black millionaire, and donated thousands of dollars to the NAACP and similar groups. 
• “Many West African hair styles are worn by Negro women in the United States, including this one—“cornrows.”  The hair is greased, combed, and tightly plaited.
• As the Afro began to wane in the 1970s, cornrows were on the rise.
• In the 1990s hip-hop artists from Ludacris to Lil’ Bow Wow could be seen with cornrows, and stylists continued to develop new innovations in cornrow braiding, best known from celebrity styles like those of basketball star Allen Iverson.

Bead Work

Bead work is known for beauty. The key concept I will be using in this lesson is mathematical concepts in its embodies. The type of summitry this design is based on is the Four-fold symmetry. The four images all have symmetry. The four images are Embroidery, Plains Indians,shoshone,Pawnee Buffalo Hide Drum, Navajo rug. Reflection symmetry is when one half of a picture or design is the exact same as the other half but on a different side. One example of base 4 counting is how tepees were often made with four base poles, each placed in one of 4 directions. Symmetry 3 was mostly used for Navajo sand painting. symmetry 4 is used for native design and an example is a coat. Symmetry 5 is shown by bead bloom and the type is Cartesian coordinate system. Bead work was created before Europeans Arrived. These designs were used to record messages and historic events, and to help with Math and Science.

Communication

The way I mostly communicate with people is by text because I have an iPhone and the iPhone has imeesge which is really quick. Other ways I also communicate with people is from snap-chat and instagram.The way I communicate with others and how other people communicate with others is the same because most of the people just text and snapchat.
